Authorities in Poland seek out individuals who may have observed or have information regarding a burglary and larceny incident that occurred in Recklinghausen.
Break-ins Reported in Recklinghausen and Datteln
Two break-ins have been reported in the towns of Recklinghausen and Datteln, with unknown perpetrators causing damage and stealing valuable items.
In Recklinghausen, a tattoo studio on Kleiststraße was the target of a break-in on Wednesday evening around 7 p.m. An employee was present at the time, but the store was closed. Unknown individuals made off with a tool cart filled with equipment.
Meanwhile, in Datteln, a church on Kirchstraße experienced a break-in between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the same day. The perpetrators destroyed a glass display case and stole several silver plaques and other items.
The police are seeking witness tips for both incidents. In Recklinghausen, anyone with information about the break-in or any suspicious activity is asked to contact the police at 0800/2361 111. In Datteln, anyone with information about the suspects or any suspicious activity in the area of the church is also asked to contact the same number.
The suspects in Datteln are described as approximately 16 to 20 years old, with two having dark short hair, one having dark medium-length hair, one wearing a white T-shirt, one a black T-shirt, and one having a black jacket on.
In a separate incident, a residential building on Im Rombergstraße in Recklinghausen was broken into on Wednesday afternoon. At least one unknown perpetrator forced open the apartment door on the 1st floor and searched the drawers in the bedroom. The police suspect burglary and are asking for any information about the incident or the suspects.
Finally, a mobile phone store on Hochstraße in Recklinghausen was also targeted. Three smartphones (two Samsung and one Xiaomi) were stolen during the break-in.
