Authorities in Stuttgart have apprehended suspects accused of involvement in illicit drug trading

In an event that unfolded on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, an 18-year-old man with Egyptian citizenship was apprehended by the Stuttgart police on suspicion of drug trafficking. The arrest took place in the Klett-Passage, a popular location in Stuttgart-Central, at around 7:30 PM.

According to reports, the suspect was observed selling hashish to a 31-year-old individual in the same location. Following the sale, the authorities moved in and made the arrest. However, the suspect resisted arrest, creating a brief commotion at the scene.

The 18-year-old was taken into custody and presented before a judge on Thursday, February 13, 2025. The Stuttgart Public Prosecutor's Office requested the hearing, during which the judge reinstated an existing arrest warrant from another case that had been suspended the previous week.

The 31-year-old individual, who was the alleged buyer, was also arrested during the incident but was later released after police procedures were completed. The suspect, now in custody, remains unnamed due to the ongoing investigation.
