Authorities probing early-hours burglary at Alexandria cigar store
Break-In at Alexandria Vape and Tobacco Under Investigation
A burglary took place early this morning at Alexandria Vape and Tobacco on King Street in Old Town, according to the Alexandria Police Department (APD).
The incident was reported by ALXnow, and it was around 5:30 a.m. when the glass front door of the tobacco shop was smashed. A passerby reported the burglary to the police, and the owner of the store, who was present during the break-in, heard the glass shatter while working nearby.
Two suspects are believed to have been involved in the burglary, and the owner stated that they appeared to be drunk. However, the identities of the suspects have not been disclosed to the public.
