Authorities seek a female motorist following a traffic collision.
In Recklinghausen, a hit-and-run accident took place on Tuesday afternoon, leaving a 39-year-old pedestrian from Dorsten with minor injuries. The incident occurred at the intersection of Clemens-August-Straße and Gahlener Straße.
According to the Police Presidency Recklinghausen, the pedestrian was attempting to cross Clemens-August-Straße on foot when they were hit by a car. The vehicle involved in the accident is reported to be a small car, similar to an Opel "Adam", and its license plate begins with the city code "WES" (for the district of Wesel).
The colour of the car is initially reported as red, but it could also be black. The driver of the car remains unknown at this time. The description of the driver provided by witnesses suggests they are approximately 50 to 60 years old, with short hair.
