In the past few days, several break-ins have been reported in the cities of Recklinghausen and Herten, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The perpetrators targeted various establishments, including schools, kindergartens, and a community house, causing damage and stealing cash, jewelry, and other valuables.

On Saturday evening, a school on Ebbelicher Weg in Herten was broken into. The method of entry remains unexplained, but cash was stolen during the incident. In Recklinghausen, two kindergartens were targeted over the weekend. One on Karolinenstraße had staff lockers searched, while the other on Straße In der Wanne had a safe stolen. The perpetrators in the latter kindergarten forced open a bathroom window and an office door.

In a separate incident, a multi-family house on Rosenstraße in Recklinghausen was broken into on Saturday evening. The perpetrators forced both the house door and the apartment door to gain entry. In another case, a church on Pestalozzistraße in Dorsten was broken into between Thursday evening and Friday afternoon, with a safe stolen from a meeting room.

The perpetrators in the kindergarten on Straße In der Wanne fled through a kitchen window, while those in Dorsten apparently left the community house through a side door. Anyone who observed anything suspicious during these times is asked to contact the police.
