Authorities seek individuals who may have observed crucial details.

In the heart of Bremen-Mitte, on the bustling Obernstraße, a distressing incident occurred on the 30th of August, 2025. A 27-year-old resident of Bremen was physically assaulted around 19:20.

According to the Bremen Police, the assault was a hate crime, motivated by the victim's sexual orientation. As the couple entered a market, a group of five people followed and continued to harass them. When the victim threatened to call the police, two members of the group attacked him.

The attackers kicked the victim's leg and struck him in the head before fleeing the scene. The Bremen Police have stated that the suspect who verbally and physically assaulted the victim is part of a trio of unknown persons. One male suspect is approximately 1.75 meters tall, 16 to 20 years old, with a dark three-day beard and short curly hair. He was wearing black sports clothing at the time of the incident.

An immediate search for the suspects was unsuccessful, and the Bremen Police are continuing their investigation into the assault. The Bremen Police have previously stated that one member of the group verbally abused the victim, using derogatory terms such as "faggot". Suspect 2 is described as a 17-20-year-old individual with blonde curls, wearing a black cap, a checked shirt (brown-white), dark blue jeans, and black Nike shoes. Suspect 1 is described as a 17-20-year-old individual with a dark complexion, black shoulder-length hair, a goatee and sideburns, wearing a black t-shirt, grey jeans, and black shoes.

The Bremen Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could help in the investigation to come forward. It is crucial that such incidents are not tolerated, and those responsible are brought to justice.
