In the small hours of Friday night, a fire broke out in an unoccupied single-family home located on Straße Am Lippekanal in Voerde, Wesel County. The incident was reported by a witness at 23:20.

The fire department swiftly responded to the call and successfully extinguished the blaze, preventing any potential damage to neighbouring properties. Fortunately, no one was inside the burning building at the time of the incident.

The Wesel County Police are currently handling the investigation into the cause of the fire, with the Criminal Police also involved. However, the identity of the perpetrator remains unknown at this time.
