In the heart of Flingern Nord, a residential area commonly known as Grafental, the annual Jeckes Grafental carnival celebration took place on Sunday, February 9th. The event, hosted by Prince Andreas I of Jeckes Grafental, was a grand affair filled with music, dance, and festivities.

Prince Andreas I, who also serves as the president of KG Regenbogen and KG Jeckes Grafental, was joined by his wife, Princess Evelyn, both named after the carnival society. The Fantastic Company provided the musical entertainment, while Clown Ferdi brought joy to the young carnival enthusiasts.

The carnival society, Jeckes Grafental, was founded in 2018, and this year's celebration marked another successful event for the organisation. The burgravine had to take a break due to illness, but her absence did not dampen the spirits of the attendees.

The Grafental building, which has been the home of Jeckes Grafental, is undergoing a transformation. It is being converted into a health and fitness center, ensuring that the society will continue to use the rooms and sanitary facilities for their future events.

The board of Jeckes Grafental recruited 25 new members during the celebration, and they were welcomed with a special gesture. New members were presented with a welcome drinks crate, a tradition that has become a symbol of the society's warm welcome.

The Monheim prince guard and their prince and princess visited Grafental, adding an extra touch of royalty to the event. The dance maidens received much applause for their performance and were honored with the prince and princess order.

The foolish early breakfast has become a tradition in Jeckes Grafental, and this year was no exception. Heinz Hülshoff got the guests in the mood for the celebration with his singing and swaying. The North Lights' burgrave dropped by with the Aquila Dance Team, further enriching the carnival atmosphere.
