Autumn Festival Sounds in Passau 2025 during Summer
The city of Passau is gearing up for its annual Autumn Fair, set to take place from September 5th to 14th at the Kohlbruck Fairgrounds. This year, the event promises a thrilling lineup of rides, live performances, and delicious food and drinks.
The Dultstadl and the Karlstetter Festzelt will be home to approximately 6,000 seats for dining and ordering drinks, making it easy for visitors to refuel and rest between rides. The fair will feature a variety of attractions, from classic rides like the Auto Scooter and Carousel, to more thrilling options such as the BayernBreaker, Sled Ride, Hula-Hoop, Ghost House, and a giant Ferris wheel.
For those seeking a touch of nostalgia, Thursday is Nostalgia Day. Beer tents and rides will play hits from the past, and the Rock 'n' Roll and Boogie Woogie Club Albatros will perform on the Auto Scooter around 6 pm. On Wednesday, Ladies' Night offers female visitors a chance to ride the carousel at half-price, enjoy attractive offers at stalls, and receive small gifts at entrances. The evening will conclude with a music fireworks display and a romantic fire show.
The first Saturday of the Herbstdult will see a visit from the Bulldog Friends from Büchlberg, who will bring their vintage vehicles to the fair. The Irrgarten Coco Bongo and the 6th Dimension Simulator will offer fun for all ages.
On the opening day, Happy Hour will be from 3 to 4 pm, with all rides being half-price. No Limit, a popular attraction that promises spectacular loops at 40m height, will return to Passau. Shooting, throwing, and lottery booths will also be available for visitors to try their luck.
A wide range of food and drinks, including Dult specialties like Dultfish, cheese, and chicken, will be available at numerous food stalls. On Monday, ride prices are halved and there are discounted offers at stalls for children and families, with the Rottaler Staatszirkus performing at 3 pm.
The safety of visitors is a top priority, with an on-site security team ensuring safety around the Dultplatz. City buses and regional bus companies will provide special rides, and after 8 pm, all city bus rides towards the ZOB will be free.
For the complete schedule of special rides and performances, visitors can visit the Dult website at www.passauer-dult.de. The fair will be opened by Mayor Jürgen Dupper on September 5th at 4 pm in the Dultstadl. The Passau Autumn Fair is not to be missed, so mark your calendars and get ready for a memorable 10 days of fun!
