Autumn Workshop for Kids: "AI and Fairy Tales" — Imaginative Course Happening from October 20-22, 2025
The city of Arnsberg is offering a unique opportunity for children aged 9 to 11 during the autumn holidays 2025. From October 20th to 22nd, 2025, the "AI and Fairy Tales" course will be held at the Arnsberg city library, in collaboration with the city's freeRAUM lab and freelance journalist Franziska Reinl.
This three-day holiday course will take place at the freeRAUM lab, where participants will learn about the structure of fairy tales and their defining characteristics. They will also be introduced to the use of AI applications, and a technique called "prompting". With this knowledge, children will develop their own stories and create initial illustrations and images for them using AI.
The course is free of charge, but spaces are limited. Registration is required, and interested parties can sign up via email at [email protected].
On the final day of the course, October 23rd, 2025, at 5:00 PM, there will be a presentation of participants' work at Arnsberg City Library. The event is open to parents, friends, and anyone interested. The presentation will include the children reading their stories aloud and a small exhibition of the illustrations they've created.
The presentation is open to the public, and registration for it can also be done via email. This will be a wonderful opportunity to witness the creativity and imagination of the young participants as they explore the world of AI and fairy tales. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
