Yesterday afternoon, a tragic accident occurred on Bossendorfer Damm in Recklinghausen, resulting in fatalities and multiple injuries.
According to the initial report, a 54-year-old woman from Bochum was driving her car towards Fläschheim when, for unknown reasons, she ended up in the opposite lane and collided with an oncoming car. The oncoming car was driven by a 78-year-old driver from Dorsten, accompanied by three men aged 56, 58, and 80.
Sadly, the 80-year-old occupant from Dorsten died at the scene. The other occupants of the Dorsten car were seriously and critically injured. The passenger in the Bochum woman's car, a 59-year-old man from Haltern am See, was also seriously injured.
