Banking institution Sparkasse takes on 47 fresh trainees in their ranks

In the heart of Elberfeld, the Sparkasse recently hosted a warm welcome event for 47 young individuals who are embarking on their careers with the esteemed institution.

The event, attended by key figures such as Axel Juetz, the Sparkasse's board chairman, Silvija Posse, head of the personnel department, and Andreas Hugendick, the chairman of the works council, marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the new apprentices.

Among the 47, 44 young individuals will be training as bank clerks, while three will be digitalization management clerks. Four of the bank clerks have already started their training on June 1, 2025.

The Sparkasse is committed to supporting these new talents in their professional and personal development. The welcome days, set to take place in Elberfeld, will provide an opportunity for the new apprentices to get to know each other and the Sparkasse better.

During the welcome days, the Sparkasse will introduce themselves, sharing their corporate values and outlining the training that the new apprentices can expect. Initial seminars will also be held to prepare the new recruits for their tasks.

Axel Juetz, the board chairman, extended a warm welcome to the new apprentices, expressing the Sparkasse's eagerness to collaborate with them. The Sparkasse looks forward to supporting these young individuals in their next steps and watching them grow within the organisation.
