The Lupus Foundation of America is gearing up for a significant event aimed at creating a world where Lupus no longer exists. This year, they are organizing the Walk to End Lupus Now, an initiative that seeks to bring community support from around the globe.

At the helm of this ambitious project is Joan Pendleton, the Director of Development for the Midwest Region at the Lupus Foundation of America. Joan, along with fellow organizer Tonia Collins, is working tirelessly to ensure the success of this fundraiser.

The Walk to End Lupus Now is more than just a walk; it's a platform to increase awareness about Lupus, a disease that affects an estimated 1.5 million Americans, primarily women and women of colour. This disease, often misunderstood and under-researched, requires our collective attention and support.

The event, proudly organized by the Lupus Foundation of America, is a beacon of hope for those affected by Lupus. It's an opportunity to come together, share stories, and show solidarity in the fight against this debilitating disease.

If you're interested in being a part of this historic event, you can register on the Lupus Foundation of America's website at www.lupus.org/walk-to-end-lupus-now. Your participation not only demonstrates your support but also helps in discussions about the significance of the event and the ongoing battle against Lupus.

Join us in our mission to end Lupus. Together, we can make a difference.
