Barrier erected at all Spring entrances, blocked access granted
In the city of Arnsberg, a construction project named "Am Spring" by the Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Arnsberg mbH is underway, causing temporary closures and detours for traffic participants.
Starting from September 15, the access to the St.-Johannes-Hospital parking lot via Lange Wende/Am Spring will be closed. As an alternative route, a detour with signage will be established. Traffic participants coming from Werler Straße will be directed to take the detour before and inside the tunnel. The detour will lead from Lange Wende via Goethestraße.
Traffic participants will turn right before the tunnel at the height of the bus station on the detour. A traffic-dependent traffic light will regulate the traffic on the detour. The detour will continue along the senior home until it reaches the St.-Johannes-Hospital parking lot.
The exit from the parking lot will be via the same route back. It is important to note that the necessary works and closures are likely to last until the end of the year, which may cause traffic disruptions and delays during the duration of the works.
The city of Arnsberg and Arnsberg City Works have apologized for any inconvenience caused by the necessary works and closures. However, they assure that the safety of the public is their top priority. No information about alternative parking options was provided in the announcement.
Drivers are advised to plan their routes accordingly and to allow extra travel time to reach their destinations. The city of Arnsberg encourages drivers to follow the detour signs and to be patient during this time.
