Basement Break-in Leads to Reported Theft

The Jena Police Headquarters in Apolda was the target of a burglary between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Unknown perpetrators managed to gain access to the basement rooms of the building, located in Apolda, via unknown leveraging tools through the main door.

The Jena Police Headquarters is a part of the Thuringian Police and serves as the headquarters for the Apolda Police. The stolen items included two bicycles - one from the brand Bulls and another from Cube - a toolbox, and brake discs. The estimated property damage is around 1000 Euros. The leader of the Jena Police Headquarters, Thomas Wehling, who is the head of the command group of the Landespolizeiinspektion Jena, has addressed the incident.
