Biden claims Clooney sabotages his father's 2024 presidential campaign
In a recent expletive-filled interview with Andrew Callaghan of Channel 5, Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, made several explosive claims and accusations.
Hunter Biden criticized longtime Democratic advisers, including David Axelrod and Anita Dunn, for making "forty to fifty million dollars" off of work for the Democratic Party, and for not helping candidates' current efforts. Neither Axelrod nor Dunn responded to requests for comment regarding these critiques.
Hunter Biden also accused Axelrod of having one success in his political life, which was Barack Obama, and that his success was due to Obama himself.
In the interview, Hunter Biden expressed his belief that his father, Joe Biden, could have won the election but made the right decision for the Democratic party. He described his father's performance at the debate as deer-like and incoherent.
Hunter Biden also mentioned that his father, Joe Biden, received Ambien to help him sleep following trips to Europe and a Los Angeles fundraiser before the debate. He suggested that his father may have been under the influence of Ambien during the 2024 presidential debate.
Another accusation leveled against President Biden was his pardoning of his son weeks before his trial conviction in the gun case and guilty plea on tax charges.
Hunter Biden also criticized George Clooney for his decision to call on Joe Biden to abandon his 2024 reelection bid. This criticism came after Clooney supported Biden's bid for a second term but changed his stance after Biden's poor debate performance against Trump in June 2024.
James Carville, adviser to former President Bill Clinton, was also criticized by Hunter Biden for not having run a race in 40 years.
Tommy Vietor, one of the hosts of "Pod Save America," applauded Hunter Biden for processing the election, looking inward, and holding himself accountable for his family's approach to politics.
In a more positive note, Hunter Biden appeared on Jaime Harrison's podcast, "At Our Table," where he discussed his father's decision to quit the 2024 presidential race.
The podcast drops come just days ahead of the expected beginning of court proceedings in a Los Angeles federal court, where Hunter Biden is suing Patrick Byrne, the former CEO of Overstock.com, for falsely claiming that Hunter offered to unfreeze $8 billion in Iranian funds in exchange for $800 million.
As the political landscape continues to evolve, these accusations and criticisms are sure to spark further debate and discussion.
