Big automobile showcase, largest in North Hessen, happening on May 10th and 11th right here in our city
The 26th our city Automobile Exhibition is set to take place on May 10th and 11th, 2025, in the city centre, promising a weekend filled with excitement and exploration.
Over 10 regional automobile dealerships, including Autozentrum Gudensberg GmbH, Autohaus Fritzlar GmbH, Autohaus Jung GmbH, Autohaus Range, Auto-Schubert-Gießen GmbH, Glinicke Automobilgruppe, Hansmann Automobile GmbH, Hetzler-Automobile Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG, IVECO Süd-West Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH, KUNO Caravaning GmbH & Co. KG, and two motorhome exhibitors, will be on site, showcasing a diverse range of 22 car brands.
Our city's city marketing has brought the topic of mobility to our city in its entire brand diversity. Alongside these dealerships, several other exhibitors will also be present, such as Heim & Haus Bauelemente, Detailwerk, PGS Freizeitmobile GmbH, Carimo, Schaustellerbetrieb Schöniger, M&B Festveranstaltungen Kassel, and partyservice Bernd Reif.
The event will feature a wide-ranging family program, including a carousel, a traffic education course by the police, live program on the town hall steps, and additional food and drink stands. Gabis Creperie and Freiwillige Feuerwehr Stadt our city will also be present, offering a variety of delicious food and interactive fire safety activities for children.

On Sunday, May 11th, 2025, retail stores will be open from 1 to 6 pm. Several retail stores will be open during the Sunday Shopping Event, including Boutique 1805, HANSMANN SPORTS, Schubladen Hildebrandt, Janett Boutique, Quick Schuh, Ernsting's family, Schiebeler Geschenke und mehr., KiK Textilien und Non-Food GmbH, Herkules E-Center - EDEKA Lebensmittel, Edelweiß Blumen im Herkules, Wolfsdorff Tabacco im Herkules, Juwelier Capar im Herkules, and ROSSMANN Drogeriemarkt im Herkules.
Due to the event, Friedrich-Ebert-Allee in our city between Marktstraße and Langenbergstraße will be closed from May 9th, 2025, at 1 pm to May 11th, 2025, around 8 pm.
The program on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, includes various dance groups performing at different times. On Sunday, May 11th, 2025, the program includes a Ringkampf-Sportverein Elgershausen e.V., KSV our city Cheerleader, Children's Fire Brigade (Interactive Activity), and Dance United performing at different times.
