Severe Traffic Accident on State Road 3121 in Seligenstadt
A traffic accident occurred on Saturday morning at the Seligenstadt junction on state road 3121. The incident involved a VW Golf driven by a 29-year-old individual and a motorcycle with a 43-year-old driver and his 36-year-old passenger.
According to the Seligenstadt police, the VW Golf was turning left onto the highway towards Würzburg when it apparently overlooked the approaching motorcycle. As a result, the two vehicles collided, causing severe damage to both.
The motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured in the accident and were immediately taken to a hospital for further treatment. Fortunately, both passengers in the VW Golf remained uninjured.
The total damage from the accident is estimated to be around 16,000 euros. The identities of the individuals involved have not been disclosed by the police.
The Seligenstadt police are currently investigating the cause of the accident and are asking for any new information or witness accounts related to the incident. Anyone who observed the accident is urged to call 06182 8930-0.
The police are also seeking witnesses who may have captured the incident on their dashcams or mobile phones. Any footage that could help in the investigation would be greatly appreciated.
