Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Unveiled with Milo Ventimiglia as David Mason
Call of Duty fans, get ready for an exhilarating adventure as Activision announces the latest installment in the Black Ops series: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The game, set for release on November 14, 2025, in India, will be available on various platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Slim, and PlayStation 5 Pro.
The storyline of Black Ops 7 follows David Mason, played by Milo Ventimiglia, as he leads an elite JSOC team in a mission to hunt down the terrorist Raul Menendez in the year 2025. Mason, the son of Alex Mason, finds himself in a battle against a shadowy enemy who thrives on fear and manipulation, with a campaign focusing on paranoia, espionage, and psychological mind games.
In addition to the gripping narrative, Black Ops 7 promises to deliver an action-packed gaming experience with the most extensive Zombies map in the franchise history. This expansive map features a drivable Wonder Vehicle, providing players with a new level of immersion and excitement.
Fans of the series will also be delighted to see alternate versions of fan-favourite characters Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo, and Dempsey teaming up with the Black Ops 6 crew in Black Ops 7. Dead Ops Arcade also makes a triumphant return for its fourth appearance in the series.
The game's arsenal includes 30 weapons at launch, including brand-new firepower and returning classics like the Peacemaker MK1, M8A1, PDW-57 (renamed as PUMA SMG), Rampart AR, and VS Recon, the reintroduced DSR-50 with a modern spin.
Moreover, the weapons in Black Ops 7 will be available in Warzone, allowing players to take their favourite weapons across both games. Classic Survival maps are making a comeback in Black Ops 7, adding an extra layer of nostalgia to the gameplay.
Two editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 are available: the Regular Cross Gen edition, priced at Rs 5,999 in India, and the Vault Edition, priced at Rs 8,249. The Vault Edition includes additional in-game content and items.
A cinematic trailer of Call of Duty Black Ops 7 was shown during the reveal, and the game was officially unveiled during Gamescom's Opening Night Live. Unfortunately, Black Ops 7 will not be available on Nintendo's Switch 2 at launch.
