Board of Senior Advisors arranges roller coaching session in Hackenbroich on the 22nd of September
On Wednesday, September 3, the next meeting of the Senior Council of the city administration will take place at the New Town Hall. However, the spotlight shifts to September 22, as the Senior Council is offering a rollator training event, in collaboration with Sanitätshaus Salgert, Senior Commissioner Monika Brockers, Stadtbus GmbH, and the traffic safety department of the police.
The meeting, open to all interested visitors, will take place at 10:00 AM on the 3rd floor of the New Town Hall, located at Paul Wierich Platz 2. After registration, a shuttle bus service will be available to all Dormagen districts, ensuring accessibility for all participants.
The training will be divided into two parts. The theoretical part will see safety tips provided by the police, while the practical part will focus on the correct use of rollators and city buses. Participants can also have their own rollators checked on-site for proper adjustment and function.
The training will take place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Bürgerhaus Hackenbroich, located at Salm-Reifferscheidt-Allee 20. This event and the shuttle bus service are free of charge, making it an opportunity not to be missed for those looking to enhance their mobility and safety.
