The resident, who stated that he had inherited money from a relative in Russia, did not mention any knowledge of the counterfeit nature of the bills. However, he had no doubt about the authenticity of the bills.

The investigation is ongoing, involving the detection of counterfeit currency. The police have seized the suspicious bill, and law enforcement is working closely with the State Committee of Judicial Expertise to determine the source of the counterfeit bill.

The descendant of the suspect from Borisov who received the counterfeit 100-dollar bill is from Belarus. The investigation is related to the exchange of a counterfeit bill at the local exchange office in Borisov.

All security elements of the counterfeit bill were simulated to confirm its authenticity, but the results showed otherwise. The authorities are urging the public to be vigilant and report any suspected counterfeit bills to the police.
