Boxer Mayweather clashes with Tyson
In an unexpected turn of events, two of boxing's greatest legends, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather, are set to face off in a highly anticipated match. The live boxing production company, CSI Sports, has announced that the bout will take place on Friday, September 5, 2025 (PH time).
The match comes at a time when both Tyson and Mayweather hold impressive records in their respective divisions. Tyson, the undisputed champion in the heavyweight division, boasts a record of 50-7, with 44 knockouts, while Mayweather, who reached the 154-pound limit in the junior middleweight division, remains undefeated with a record of 50-0, and 27 knockouts.
Mike Tyson has officially signed the contract for the fight, as confirmed by Tyson himself. In a press release, Tyson expressed his initial disbelief at the prospect of the match, stating, "When CSI came to me about stepping in the ring with Floyd Mayweather, I thought, 'No way this happens.' But, Floyd said yes."
Floyd Mayweather, aged 48, has shown his support for the fight, expressing in a wire report that the match between Tyson and Paul will provide a win for boxing fans. Mayweather, known for his confidence, has also stated, "I've been doing this for 30 years and there hasn't been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy."
