A violent brawl occurred in front of a fast-food restaurant at Dortmund Central Station on June 26th at 01:40 AM, as reported by the Federal Police Directorate Sankt Augustin.

According to eyewitness accounts, a 33-year-old witness stated that he saw a homeless man strike a 23-year-old on the head with a glass bottle. The police found the victim lying on the ground, being restrained by DB Security employees. The man, known to the police from previous incidents, did not comment on the incident and exercised his right to remain silent.

The victim, who had a severe laceration on his head, was initially deemed not to require a hospital examination. The Federal Police officers issued a ban on the premises for both aggressors and secured the surveillance camera footage as evidence.
