On Tuesday, September 2, an information event about the upcoming municipal election will take place in Dormagen. The event, which starts at 5:30 PM, is open to all interested citizens and will be held in the council chamber of the New Town Hall (3rd floor).

Organised by the city administration of Dormagen, KoKoBe office, and the Office for Easy-to-Read Language of the Lebenshilfe Rhein-Kreis Neuss together with the Landesintegrationsrat Nordrhein-Westfalen, the event aims to explain the municipal election process in a simple manner.

During the event, experts will cover various topics, including why voting is important, who can be voted for in the municipal election, how to cast a vote correctly, and how postal voting works. After the explanation, participants will have the opportunity to practice voting using a voting booth, ballot box, and sample ballots.

The main entrance of the New Town Hall will be closed during the event. However, the event's entrance is located in Castellstraße, next to the parking garage "Rathaus-Galerie". Unfortunately, the address of the New Town Hall is not provided, but the event's location is easily accessible.

The municipal election event is a great opportunity for citizens to gain a better understanding of the voting process and to prepare for the upcoming election. All are welcome to attend and learn more about their civic duties and the importance of their vote.
