Browsing and bargaining through the second-hand market in Neuwied
Flea Market Returns to Neuwied City Centre on September 21st
Neuwied, Germany - The city centre will once again transform into a bustling marketplace as the "Marktveranstaltungen Nikolopoulos" flea market returns on September 21st. Organiser Nikolopoulos has been managing the event, ensuring a smooth organisation on site.
Visitors and exhibitors are encouraged to make use of the numerous free parking spaces under the Rhine bridge. Access to the flea market area is only possible via Langendorfer Street coming from the Unterfuhrung B42 (La Porte).
Due to safety measures, only a portion of the vehicles can access the market area at a time. The on-site event team will guide vendors to their spots, and a smooth process with minimal waiting times is in the interest of all.
Setup of the stands begins as early as 6 am in the pedestrian zone on Langendorfer Street between Marktstraße and Luisenstraße. Early arrival is recommended for vendors who want to secure a spot to sell their used or handmade items. After quick unloading, cars must be immediately removed from the flea market area. Access to the area for dismantling stands is not possible before 4 pm.
Private, non-commercial stands have a reduced stand fee of 2 euros, plus 5 euros per meter for the first three running meters, and 8 euros per meter for each additional meter. The flea market takes place in a pedestrian zone, making it an ideal location for bargain hunters.
Last entry for setup is at 8:45 am. The market will be open for browsing and shopping from 9 am to 4 pm.
Images from previous editions of the flea market show curious finds and a lively atmosphere, with many bargain hunters in attendance. Even at the spring edition in May, the market was a popular destination.
The flea market does not require registration for a sales spot. Instead, exhibitors line up in the left lane in the queue along the Media Markt until the Luisenstraße entrance is opened.
So, mark your calendars and join us in Neuwied city centre on September 21st for a day of unique finds, lively atmosphere, and a chance to support local vendors.
