Bruno Mars' latest club, The Pinky Ring, showcases the star's preferred sound system: the top-notch L-Acoustics A15i.
In the heart of Las Vegas, at the Bellagio Resort & Casino, a new entertainment hotspot has emerged - The Pinky Ring, a venue personally curated by Grammy-winning artist Bruno Mars.
The Pinky Ring offers more than just a lounge bar experience. Its interior design, cocktail creations, and live performances are all a reflection of Mars' unique style and flair. But what truly sets The Pinky Ring apart is its state-of-the-art L-Acoustics sound system.
At the core of the system, an LA12X amplified controller powers the Syva Subs and KS28, with the rest of the setup driven by an LA7.16i. An L-Acoustics P1 handles Milan-AVB conversion, ensuring seamless audio transmission.
The main sound system includes ceiling-flown main arrays of one A15i Focus and one A15i Wide per side of the stage, providing clear and powerful sound for every performance. For monitoring, a pair of X15 HiQ wedges are used.
The system is purposefully over-delayed, as per Bruno Mars' request, to foster visual fusion. Six X4i speakers and four SB6i subs are used overhead along the main entrance hallway, while delay speakers and low-profile SB10i subs are strategically placed in the back of the dance floor area and VIP sections.
For low end, four Syva Sub enclosures are used, flanked by a single end-stacked KS28 sub on either side, each topped with a coaxial X12 for front-fill.
The result is a unique audio experience that sets The Pinky Ring apart in a city known for its entertainment venues. The system allows for a complete mix every time, even in an intimate setting, making it comparable to A-level arena pop star performances.
Behind the mixing console, sound engineer Andreasen finds mixing on the A Series at The Pinky Ring to be a lot of fun. The sources coming from the stage are excellent and complemented well by the system, putting smiles on everyone's faces, including Bruno Mars himself.
