Burglary via balcony on the seventh floor, knife-wielding robbers gain entry into residence

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a shocking home robbery took place in a seventh-floor attic apartment near Herder Park in Simmering, Vienna. The perpetrators, suspected to be connected to the local drug scene, gained entry to the apartment around 4 AM, leaving a trail of violence in their wake.

The victim, a 37-year-old resident, was brutally attacked with a knife, sustaining stab wounds to the chest, arm, and hand areas. The severity of the injuries required immediate medical attention, and emergency services transported him to the hospital.

The burglars made off with €4,500, three expensive watches (including a Rolex), and the resident's car keys. They demanded that the resident hand over all valuable items before fleeing through the apartment door in an unknown direction.
