Bus driver and passenger injured during check-in in Bonn-Bad Godesberg, authorities search for witnesses to aid investigation
In an unexpected turn of events, a physical altercation occurred near the Hopmannstraße bus stop in Bonn around 9 PM last night. The incident involved fare inspectors, a bus driver, and three young suspects.
The altercation started when the suspects, who were initially fleeing the scene, returned and joined the fray. According to reports, the suspects allegedly attacked the employees and the bus driver together. One of the suspects is said to have pushed one of the fare inspectors out of the bus.
Three young men were checked during this time, and two suspects aged 17 and 18 were later arrested during the immediate search. However, the search results do not provide the name of the suspect who reappeared at the scene of the incident and was involved in the confrontation.
The arrested suspects were taken to the police headquarters, processed, and later released. The search for the remaining suspect continues.
