Business entities in the UAE and Angola formalize partnership to establish a mutually beneficial trade council
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Angola have taken a significant step towards strengthening their economic partnership, with the establishment of the UAE-Angola Business Council. The council was officially signed as a Memorandum of Understanding during an official UAE economic delegation's visit to Luanda.
Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Vice Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Vicente Soares, President of the Angolan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, signed the agreement. Papéis Sebastião Monteiro, a representative from Angola, also participated in the signing ceremony.
The UAE-Angola Business Council is aimed at providing a platform for entrepreneurs and investors, fostering collaboration, and converting shared interests into actionable initiatives. The council will focus on priority sectors, with the potential for expansion into additional areas beyond those previously mentioned.
