Cadillac F1 leadership maintains there has been no dialogue and no proposal to recruit Christian Horner into their team.

Christian Horner, the former team principal of Red Bull Racing, has been the subject of speculation regarding his potential employment at a Formula 1 team following his dismissal last month. However, these rumours, particularly those surrounding a possible role at the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, have now been laid to rest.

The rumours arose due to Horner's perceived involvement with the Google Drive scandal of 2024 and his handling of claims of inappropriate behaviour made by a female employee at Red Bull. This has led many to perceive him as persona non grata in the boardrooms of many automakers.

Recently, Dan Towriss, CEO of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, confirmed Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas as the team's maiden drivers. During the press conference to announce these drivers, Towriss categorically denied any involvement with Christian Horner.

Despite the rumours, there are no plans for Horner to join the Cadillac Formula 1 Team. In fact, the support, belief, and backing of the team is with Graeme Lowdon, their current team principal, who was appointed to the role in December 2024.

Interestingly, the sport of Formula 1 seems to have a short-term memory problem, as evidenced by Flavio Briatore's return to F1 after fixing a grand prix's outcome. Morality may not be a factor in some teams' hiring decisions in Formula 1.

It is worth noting that despite already having a team principal, the Cadillac Formula 1 Team is still hiring and onboarding personnel. However, it appears that Horner is not among them.

Towriss's denial of any involvement with Horner officially puts an end to the rumours surrounding his potential employment at the Cadillac Formula 1 Team. With the team's focus on Perez and Bottas, it seems Horner's future in Formula 1 remains uncertain.
