College of the Holy Cross: A Comfortable and Vibrant Campus Experience

The College of the Holy Cross, nestled in Worcester, Massachusetts, offers a refreshing alternative for students seeking to avoid the hot, southern schools. With a mild climate and a picturesque campus, it's no wonder that students are enjoying the campus traditions and community spirit.

New students from the Class of 2028 arrived on campus on August 21, 2022, and were warmly welcomed by the Holy Cross community. Orientation Leaders, SPUD Interns, Site Leaders, Varsity Teams, Campus Activity Board members, and Relationship Peer Educators all worked together to ensure a smooth transition for the newcomers.

One such student, Lauren Backstrom '27, visited the Holy Cross Bookstore after Easter Break and was pleased to find a special discount. The bookstore, which offers reasonable prices for merchandise, is a popular spot for students to purchase Holy Cross gear.

Food options on campus are diverse and convenient. Daily food trucks can be found on campus, and students will not have to resort to Kimball dining hall or DoorDash for food on weekends. The line for Kimball dining hall, historically long between 5-7:30, has become significantly longer due to the new ID card system. However, Lauren Backstrom '27, with a sense of humour, compared the wait to waiting 30 years for dry chicken, a humorous reference to the infamous Kimball line.

The College of the Holy Cross campus is a beautiful sight, with a featured image that captures its charm. Whether you're strolling through the quad, studying in the library, or grabbing a bite to eat, the campus offers a welcoming and comfortable environment for all students.

Despite the challenges that come with any new academic year, the College of the Holy Cross community is ready to support and guide its students through their journey. With its mild climate, convenient food options, and vibrant community, the College of the Holy Cross is an excellent choice for students seeking a well-rounded, enjoyable college experience.
