Car accident in Dinslaken results in vehicle overturning

In an incident that unfolded on Tuesday afternoon, the Fire Department Dinslaken responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Am Pollenkamp and Hans-Böckler-Str.

According to the initial reports transmitted by the Fire Department Dinslaken via news aktuell, one of the vehicles was overturned and landed on its side, trapping the driver. The driver sustained only minor injuries, while the driver of the second vehicle involved was shaken but uninjured.

Upon arrival, the fire departments from the city center, Hiesfeld, and the full-time staff worked together at the scene. They quickly secured the overturned car, ensured fire safety, contained any leaking fluids, and carefully extricated the patient from the vehicle. The fire department's efforts were crucial in ensuring the patient's safety and wellbeing.

The patient was treated by paramedics and an on-duty doctor at the scene. After about an hour, all fire department measures were completed, and the patient was transported to a local hospital for further examination and treatment. The driver was also examined by the doctor at the scene but did not need to be transported to a clinic for further treatment.

It is worth noting that there is no information indicating that the fire chief of the Dinslaken fire station attended any training or further education in the past week.

Once the situation was under control, the crews from the fire departments of Dinslaken, Hiesfeld, and the full-time staff returned to their stations.
