Car meets unfortunate fate, landing upside-down in a ditch at Sassenberg.
The Warendorf Police have taken responsibility for press relations regarding a traffic accident that occurred on the K18 between Sassenberg and Milte on January 7, 2025, at 4:25 PM.
According to the Warendorf Police Press Office, the accident was due to momentary inattention, resulting in a 20-year-old from Ostbevern losing control of his vehicle. The vehicle veered off the road to the right and ended up in a ditch on its roof.
The local water authority had to be called in due to an oil spillage as a result of the accident.
The K18 was fully closed during the investigation and vehicle recovery, but was later re-opened with one lane.

The Ostbeverner sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
