Casino and Hotel in Snoqualmie Marks the Start of a Fresh Chapter
The Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, located just a stone's throw away from Seattle in the picturesque Snoqualmie Valley, unveiled its long-awaited $400 million expansion on August 8, 2025. This monumental project, one of the largest in the Puget Sound region, has transformed the resort into a world-class destination.
At the heart of the expansion is a stunning 10-story, 210-room luxury hotel, designed to pay homage to the Snoqualmie tribal heritage. The hotel's roofline, inspired by traditional longhouses, adds an authentic touch to the resort's new look.
The expansion has brought about a host of new features and amenities. The full-service MoonRise Spa offers a range of signature treatments and serene spaces for relaxation. A fitness centre and an indoor pool with resort pool decks provide guests with the perfect place to unwind.
The casino floor has expanded by about 11,000 square feet, adding over 600-700 new slot machines, bringing the total to over 2,000 state-of-the-art machines. The expansion also includes 59 table games, including Washington’s first sportsbook.
For those seeking a more energetic experience, the resort now boasts a high-energy sports bar and grill, the Hawks Peak Sports Bar, featuring 66 screens, sports memorabilia, and upscale pub fare.
The expansion has also introduced a 2,000-seat entertainment and convention space, perfect for events and conferences. Two new restaurants have been added to the resort's dining options, offering a variety of culinary experiences.
A new parking garage has been constructed to accommodate the influx of guests. The property, previously known as Snoqualmie Casino, was rebranded in November 2024.
The construction of this expansive project generated approximately 500 jobs for tribe members and locals. The grand opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the hotel's porte cochère, attended by Tribal leaders, casino executives, and invited guests.
To celebrate the occasion, a first-of-its-kind drone show was held over the Snoqualmie Valley sky at night. The new resort, nestled in the scenic foothills, promises to offer a unique blend of luxury, relaxation, and fun-filled excitement.
As Mary Lou Patterson, the CEO of Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, stated, "We're just getting started." With the expansion complete, the resort is poised to usher in a new era of hospitality and entertainment in the Pacific Northwest.
