- Celebrate at the Feeling Happy Festival: don't miss out!
The much-anticipated Glücksgefühle Music Festival is set to return this September, taking place at the Hockenheimring from the 11th to the 14th. Organized by football world champion Lukas Podolski and festival veteran Markus Krampe since 2023, this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
With an expected attendance of approximately 200,000 visitors, the Glücksgefühle Festival is set to break records as the largest music festival in Germany. The festival will feature three main stages, including a new addition, the Dopamin Stage, which will host acts such as K.I.Z, Ski Aggu, Mia Julia, and more.
Performers for the festival also include Apache 207, the Black Eyed Peas, and Scooter, ensuring a diverse lineup to cater to a wide range of music tastes. For those seeking adrenaline-pumping entertainment, the Globe of Death will showcase motorcycle stunts, while a freefall tower, a Ferris wheel, and a zip line will provide thrilling rides.
For those who appreciate art, a graffiti area with DJs and live painting artworks will be available. The festival will also offer a variety of food options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices, as well as traditional favourites like burgers, fries, bratwurst, and doner.
Tickets for the event can still be purchased through the official resale shop until next Friday. A day ticket costs 129 euros, while a weekend ticket is 239 euros. Group tickets are available for 219 euros for a group of four or more. Festival tickets serve as tickets for regional transport, allowing free travel on all buses, trams, and approved trains within the Rhine-Neckar Transport Association area until 3:00 AM the following day.
To ensure a smooth entry, visitors are advised to check the list of prohibited items, which includes bags larger than DIN A4, weapons, food, laser pointers, seating, selfie sticks, cameras, drinks, and carts or handcarts with camping equipment. Small belt or waist bags, handbags, clear bags and gym bags up to the size of DIN A3, wallets, foldable bottles up to 500 millilitres, hand sanitizer in bottles up to 50 millilitres, phones, and small power banks are allowed.
Camping spots near Hockenheim station can still be booked on the festival's website (from 69 euros). With only around 1,000 tickets left for the festival, music lovers are encouraged to secure their tickets before they sell out.
