Celebrating Associate Member Appreciation Month 2025 Initiated by NAHB
NAHB Celebrates Associate Members During September
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is celebrating Associate Member Appreciation Month in September, highlighting the crucial role these members play in the home building industry. Buddy Hughes, the current NAHB Chairman, emphasised the importance of Associate members, stating that they strengthen the network, provide essential materials, services, or expertise, and help move the entire industry forward.
Associate members represent a diverse range of specialties, including financial services, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and accounting. They are primarily suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers in the home building industry, such as building material manufacturers, financial institutions, and real estate professionals.
According to Hughes, Associate members fuel collaboration within NAHB, contributing to a more innovative and productive environment. The quality and innovation of Associate members, he said, are felt in every project and community built by NAHB.
During his statement, Hughes did not specify the exact number of Associate members, but it was mentioned earlier that approximately 70,000 are being celebrated. He also did not provide the percentage of total membership that Associate members make up, but it was earlier stated that they represent nearly two-thirds of the total membership.
Hughes concluded by emphasising the significant impact Associate members have on the industry, stating that they help move the industry forward and contribute to the success of every project and community built by NAHB.
This month-long celebration is a testament to the vital role Associate members play in the home building industry and the NAHB's commitment to recognising and appreciating their contributions.
