The tea room "Weltweit," known for its cultural events, is set to find a new home in Lengerich. The city has plans to implement its integration concept in the building where the tea room will be moving, specifically the former premises of the Sparkasse branch.

Enno Mlynarek, a city official, confirmed that the plans for the tea room's move are currently in full swing. This move comes after the planned demolition of the tea room's current building, as mentioned by Renate Tanner, a volunteer at the tea room.

The social gathering, which included a colorful program organised by the tea room and the former guesthouse Kronenburg, took place at Kronenburg during this year's summer festival. Some of the residents of Kronenburg were even manning the grill during the event.

Kronenburg, one of Lengerich's accommodations for refugees, has been hosting refugees for nearly two years. Out of the 24 rooms in Kronenburg, 18 are currently occupied by Syrians.

Renate Tanner also spoke during the event, expressing her belief that such celebrations help maintain contacts and engage in conversation among Lengerich residents. The event featured a bouncy castle and materials from the city sports association's playmobile for the children, making it a fun-filled day for all.

The first visitors stormed the buffet inside the building during the event, indicating a warm welcome for the tea room's upcoming move. The "Weltweit" tea room regularly offers such opportunities in its premises on Bahnhofstraße, and with the move to the Sparkasse building, it promises to continue its cultural events and contributions to Lengerich's community.

However, the search results do not provide information about which institutions are planning the relocation of the "Weltweit" tea resting place to the former Sparkasse building in Lengerich. Regardless, Renate Tanner's words ring true: this move marks a new beginning for Lengerich.
