Celebrating PAC-MAN's birthday! Thanks for the labyrinth of fun!

Pac-Man, the beloved yellow maze-runner, is back and better than ever on the Nintendo Switch. This time, he's featured in two exciting games - Namco Museum Archives Vol 1 and Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 PLUS.

In Namco Museum Archives Vol 1, players can enjoy an 8-bit demastered version of PAC-MAN Championship Edition. The game is part of a collection of 10 classic Namco titles, some of which have never been localized and released in the west before. One of these games is PAC-LAND, a side-scrolling, fairy chasing, ghost chomping adventure that was previously only available in Japan.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 PLUS, on the other hand, is an exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch. This game offers a co-op mode, "PAC-MAN CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION 2 PLUS 2P," where two players can team up to navigate the maze. In this game, one player can even rescue another when one gets caught by a ghost.

Pac-Man appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, both in his classic form and with hands and legs. His Final Smash in the game is growing into a giant Super Pac-Man. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is playable online and locally, with more characters, stages, music, and modes than past games in the series. A Nintendo Switch Online membership and a Nintendo Account are required for online features.

Pac-Man was born on May 22, 1980, and has been delighting fans for more than 40 years. His popularity has made him a pop culture icon, and he continues to captivate new generations of gamers.

In addition to these games, Pac-Man can also be found in Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, a remastered 3D platformer, and Shadow Labyrinth, a 2D action-adventure with multiplayer aspects and Pac-Man-themed maze gameplay. Pac-Man VS., a four-player game where one player controls Pac-Man and the other 3 players control the Ghosts, is also included in Namco Museum.

Namco Museum Archives Vol 2 is yet to be released, but it promises to bring more Pac-Man adventures to the Nintendo Switch. Until then, fans can enjoy the classic and modern Pac-Man games available now on the platform.
