Celebration kickoff of Pride Weeks featuring CSD Parades
The city of Halle (Saale) is gearing up for an exciting celebration of diversity and inclusivity, as the local CSD Halle group announces the Pride Weeks and Christopher Street Day (CSD) event taking place from September 5 to 21, 2025.
Mayor Dr. Alexander Vogt has taken on the patronage for both the CSD and the Pride Weeks, showing his commitment to promoting equality and fostering a welcoming environment for all.
The Pride Weeks will feature a variety of events on queer topics, with numerous organizations joining in to offer lectures, discussion evenings, book speed dating, and parties. AIDS-Hilfe, BBZ lebensart, and the Lambda Mitteldeutschland youth network are spearheading the organization of the Pride Weeks.
The highlight of the Pride Weeks will be the CSD event, which will include a street festival, a demonstration march, and a CSD party. The event will be opened on September 6, 2025, at 12 noon on the market square, and the main CSD day will take place on September 13, 2025.
To set the tone for the CSD event, the motto is "To the Barricades, Mine!", encouraging everyone to stand up for their rights and join the movement for equality. In addition, Mayor Vogt, Marcel Dรถrrer from AIDS-Hilfe Halle/Sachsen-Anhalt Sรผd, and other CSD actors will set rainbow flags in front of the city hall to mark the occasion.
