Celebration of Youth Present at Historical Barracks

The Landshut Youth Festival, an exciting event aimed at engaging young people and gathering ideas for future initiatives, is set to take place on Friday, July 25th. This youth-centric celebration is the brainchild of the newly elected Landshut Youth Council, working in close collaboration with the municipal youth work.

The festival will unfold at the vibrant youth culture centre "Alte Kaserne", offering a perfect setting for the day's activities. The event is open to young people aged up to 27 years old from Landshut and the surrounding area, ensuring a diverse and lively atmosphere.

The festival kicks off at 3 pm and continues until 10 pm, promising a full day of fun and creativity. Food and drinks will be available throughout the day, with youth-friendly prices, making each item just one euro.

The Landshut Youth Festival offers a variety of activities to keep attendees entertained. A T-shirt design competition, henna tattoo creation, and a graffiti workshop are just a few of the creative pursuits on offer. For those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition, a table soccer tournament will provide hours of fun.

The music lineup includes DJ SIXX P from Dingolfing, promising a lively and energetic atmosphere. The festival will also feature a performance by a talented young musician from Landshut, whose name is yet to be revealed.

This community-driven event is a testament to the child and youth-friendly nature of the municipality of Landshut, with the festival being initiated and planned by the youth council, municipal employees of the youth welfare office, mobile youth work, Checkpoint youth center, and Poschinger Villa youth center.
