German Games Industry Gathers for Summer Festival

On June 4th, the gaming industry and politics came together at the Summer Festival, an event organised by the Association of the German Games Industry. Approximately 500 guests attended the gathering, including Michael Kellner, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.

Michael Kellner, who belongs to the political party Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (The Greens), is responsible for the games industry in the federal government and has been promoting it in his department. In his welcoming speech, he addressed open issues in the federal government's games policy.

The Summer Festival provided a relaxed networking atmosphere for attendees from the gaming industry and politics. It was an opportunity for the two sectors to connect and discuss issues that are crucial to the growth and development of the games industry in Germany.

As a key figure in the federal government, Kellner's speech at the event marked a significant moment for the games industry. His commitment to addressing the open issues in the government's games policy and his role in promoting the industry were evident in his speech.

The Summer Festival was a testament to the growing importance of the games industry in Germany and the need for collaboration between the industry and the government. With Kellner at the helm, the games industry can look forward to continued support and development in the coming years.
