Celebratory News: Two EIOH Residency Programs Recognized as Top-Notch in America
The Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH) at the University of Rochester Medical Center has made a significant leap in the world of dental education, securing the top spot in the United States for its Periodontology and Pediatric Dentistry Residency Programs. The success of these programs is attributed to their collaborative approach, focusing on treating underserved communities, medically complex patients, and in the operating room. The Pediatric Dentistry program, in particular, works closely with departments like hematology-oncology to increase awareness and management of oral issues in cancer patients.
