The SiGMA Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting various causes, recently held a successful series of charitable auctions. The events, which included the SiGMA Art Auction and the SiGMA Euro-Med Charity Auction, raised a significant amount of funds for the foundation's projects.

The SiGMA Art Auction, held at the Hilton Malta, featured five captivating artworks, including a piece transforming the Maltese falcon into a living form. One of the highlights of the auction was EDO's The Maltese Falcon, which was sold for €20,000 to Vegas Legends. Another notable artwork was Etienne Farrell's Fallen Angel II, a dark piece in a trilogy honoring Maltese artist Mark Mallia. The artwork, featuring a jacket, tattoo design, feathers, roses, and a blood-stained crown, was sold for €35,000 to Xgenia.

The sports-themed auction saw the sale of an Argentina national team shirt signed by Leo Messi, Emi Martínez, and Julián Álvarez for €24,000 to ADWA Consult. A rare signed photo of Pelé, generously donated by The Power Plugin, was sold for €11,000 to Betsson Group. XBO Booster also contributed by donating a Messi shirt for auction.

The funds raised will support vital projects for the SiGMA Foundation. Among the projects supported are an extension to a hospital in rural Peru, water tanks for a kindergarten in Bonga, Ethiopia, and the refurbishing of St Peter & St Paul Primary School in Jimma, Ethiopia. The Foundation's focus in 2026 will be on education, health, and sustainability projects.

The SiGMA Euro-Med Charity Auction also played a significant role in the events, raising a notable €103,500. However, the search results do not provide information on who acquired the paintings "The Maltese Falcon" and "Fallen Angel 2" at the SiGMA Euro-Med Charity Auctions.

The auctions were an integral part of the SiGMA Euro-Med Awards, an event that honours individuals and organisations contributing to the growth and development of the gaming industry in the Euro-Mediterranean region. The SiGMA Foundation continues to make a difference in the lives of many, one auction at a time.
