Child Discovered in Garage, Previously Reported Missing at Age 10
In a heartening turn of events, a 10-year-old boy with autism, named Arian, was found safe and sound in Wolfenbüttel, Lower Saxony, on Saturday morning.
The boy had gone missing from his home in April 2024, and the search for him involved a large-scale operation that lasted throughout the night and into the morning. Helicopters and drones were deployed, along with multiple search dogs and drone teams equipped with thermal imaging cameras. The search operation took place in the Wendessen district of Wolfenbüttel.
The boy was reported missing on the previous evening at approximately 6:30 PM. He was discovered in a garage near his home during the search. Upon finding him, the police confirmed his safe recovery, and he was initially assessed to be unharmed.
The circumstances surrounding Arian's disappearance are still under investigation by the local police in Niedersachsen. No signs of foul play were found in the case, and the police did not confirm any connection between this missing child's case and that of the 6-year-old Arian from Bremervörde, whose case brought back memories during this search.
