City Center Incident: Assault androbbery at a store - Suspects brutally attack with punches and kicks - Apprehension - Ongoing probing and search proceedings
In an unexpected turn of events, a theft incident occurred at a local store on Mühlenstraße earlier this week. The incident, which took place on a weekday morning, saw three men attempting to make off with a selection of clothes.
Upon noticing the theft, the business owner and an employee quickly intervened, leading to a scuffle. During the altercation, one of the perpetrators attempted to remove the business owner's watch, but it fell to the ground and was not recovered.
The police were promptly called to the scene and took the three suspects into custody. The individuals in question were two accused men, aged 29 and 31, and a third suspect, a 21-year-old German. The two older suspects, it should be noted, were not identified as repeat offenders, and the younger suspect had not previously come to police attention.
The suspects were questioned by the authorities, and later that morning, they were released without charges being filed. Despite the release, the police are still actively investigating the incident for potential leads.
Fortunately, the business owner and the employee were not hospitalized after the incident. However, during the scuffle, the perpetrators struck and kicked the victims.
Regrettably, no witnesses came forward after the incident, and the stolen clothes were not recovered. The stolen watch, too, was not found at the scene.
Despite these setbacks, the store on Mühlenstraße remains open for business, demonstrating the resilience of the local community. The police continue their efforts to bring justice to this incident and ensure the safety of local businesses and their employees.
