City center incident: Numerous individuals hurt in a severe automobile collision on Weyersberg Street
In Solingen, Germany, on Tuesday morning at 11:05 AM, a head-on collision occurred between two cars on Weyersberger Straße. The accident, which took place near the intersection of Kotterstraße and Augustastraße, caused significant traffic delays and resulted in injuries to three vehicle occupants.
Upon the incident, emergency services, including firefighters and multiple rescue vehicles, were promptly dispatched to the scene. A paramedic was also present to attend to the injured parties.
Regrettably, one of the individuals sustained severe injuries, while two others incurred lighter injuries. The total damage to the two vehicles involved amounted to several thousand euros, and both vehicles were no longer roadworthy, requiring them to be towed away.
The closure of the intersection at Kotterstraße and Augustastraße resulted in heavy traffic congestion in the area. The name of the driver who was seriously injured in the traffic accident has not been disclosed at this time.
