City of Bremerhaven Experiences Multiple Accidents within Urban Region

In the Lehe district of Bremerhaven, two traffic accidents occurred on separate days, causing minor injuries and prompting investigations by the local police.

On April 11th, a traffic accident took place at 2:40 PM on a street known as Grimsbystraße. The incident involved an illegal U-turn by a 48-year-old driver, resulting in a collision. The driver and a 25-year-old passenger in the other vehicle sustained minor injuries. The police are currently investigating this accident for endangering traffic.

Following the Grimsbystraße accident, a verbal altercation ensued, during which the 37-year-old Kia driver struck the 48-year-old driver. The driver's license was seized following the accident.

In a separate incident on April 12th at 9:40 PM, another traffic accident occurred on the same street, Grimsbystraße. A 28-year-old driver rear-ended a car that was making a turn. The driver underwent a voluntary alcohol and drug test, which indicated the presence of intoxicants. As a result, the driver will now face charges for endangering traffic and assault.

On April 11th, another traffic accident occurred in the Bremerhaven-Lehe district at 3:50 PM. The police are investigating this accident for reckless endangerment. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and their vehicles had to be towed.
