City Zone Speed Regulations Enforced by Polish-UN

In Schwerte, North Rhine-Westphalia, a series of speed checks were conducted on several streets, including Iserlohner Straße, Unnaer Straße, and Hölder Straße, by the Kreispolizeibehörde Unna between August 10 and August 13, 2025.

On Sunday, August 10, the police initiated speed controls on these streets, resulting in 103 drivers facing a procedure for administrative offenses on Hölder Straße. One driver received a driving ban, while 17 drivers received an administrative offense report. A total of 463 drivers were issued a warning fine.

Between 18:10 and 21:05 on the same day, a total of 713 vehicles were measured at Iserlohner Straße. Among these, 17 drivers exceeded the speed limit, with one driver receiving a driving ban. The identity of this driver remains undisclosed, but it is known that they were traveling at 117 km/h outside built-up areas, for which they were fined €320 and received two points on their license.

On Wednesday, August 13, speed checks were conducted on Iserlohner Straße, Unnaer Straße, and Hölder Straße once more. On Iserlohner Straße, between 14:40 and 17:40, the speed of 1216 vehicles was measured, but specific data regarding violations or penalties was not provided.

On Unnaer Straße, the "top offender" was traveling at 106 km/h instead of the permitted 50 km/h. This driver was fined €480, received two points on their license, and was issued a one-month driving ban. A total of 17 drivers will face a procedure for administrative offenses, 155 will receive a warning fine, and one driver will face a driving ban on Unnaer Straße.

On Hölder Straße, 566 drivers exceeded the 50 km/h speed limit between 13:40 and 17:40 on Sunday. The exact number of violations or penalties issued was not specified.
