The activities involve the distribution of 150 gifts to local students and Buddhist followers in disadvantaged circumstances, as well as free health check-ups, consultations, and medicines for about 500 local residents in collaboration with Medic Bình Dương General Hospital.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Nhân Hậu discussed the situation in the East Sea, protecting the country's sovereignty over its sea and islands, and the fight against drug-related crime at sea with Buddhist followers in Đông Nai Province. The activities address the protection of the country's sovereignty over its sea and islands and the fight against drug-related crime at sea.
The activities also aim to disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on sea and islands, and the situation in the East Sea (South China Sea). Furthermore, they seek to mobilize locals to participate in the prevention and control of IUU fishing and the protection of sovereignty over sea and islands.
The activities are held under plan No.1399/KH-CT of VCG's Political Department and are expected to reinforce people's trust in the armed forces and promote unity and compassion within local communities, including religious communities.
