Cold weather sets in as heating season begins across northern Khabarovsk region
The heating season in the Khabarovsk District, a region in eastern Russia, has commenced in some areas, marking the transition from summer to autumn. The timing of the heating season's start varies across different districts in the region.
Typically, the heating season arrives in the first decade of October in the central municipalities of the Khabarovsk District. However, this year, the Khabarovsk Krai government decided to start the heating season on September 2, 20XX. In the south of the Khabarovsk District, the heating season often starts two weeks later than in the northern part.
The heating season applies to the villages of Ayan, Aim, Dzhigda, Nelkan, Arkinsky, and Insky, as well as the rural settlements of the Okhotsky District. Boilers were launched in these villages, and some districts are currently receiving certificates of readiness of the housing fund and heat consumers for the winter. A total of 4,179 apartment buildings have already received certificates of readiness in the Khabarovsk District.
The certificates of readiness are issued to apartment buildings and heat consumers in the Khabarovsk District for the winter season. These certificates ensure that the boiler houses and heating systems are ready to operate efficiently and safely during the cold winter months. However, it's worth noting that the certificates of readiness are not mentioned to be issued to the villages of Ayan, Aim, Dzhigda, Nelkan, Arkinsky, and Insky, or the rural settlements of the Okhotsky District, nor are they related to the boiler houses put into operation in these villages.
Last year, heating was turned on around the same time in the Khabarovsk region. This year, heat will be supplied to the homes of the residents of the village of Ayan and the remaining settlements of the Okhotsky District starting from September 15. The timing of the heating season's start is determined by the administration of the municipal formations in the Khabarovsk District, and the decision to turn on the heat is made by the administration of the municipal formation.
It's important to note that the heating season does not apply to all settlements in the Khabarovsk region immediately; some will receive heat starting from September 15. The administration of the municipal formations in the Khabarovsk District will continue to monitor the temperatures and make decisions accordingly.
As the weather continues to cool, residents of the Khabarovsk region can look forward to the comfort of heated homes, knowing that the necessary preparations have been made to ensure a safe and efficient heating season.
